Aaron Axelrod:
“From gang symbols to scramble porn, Aaron Axelrod’s art reflects his vibrant perception of the outlandish city of Los Angeles. An LA native, Axelrod is best known for designing art for bands at Coachella. Radiohead, The Chili Peppers and Madonna are just some of the bands’ dressing rooms he’s decorated at the music festival. ”I listen to the bands’ music before meeting them, and create off their sounds,” he says. Axelrod also has an affinity for breaking out of the second dimension. Many of his unique paintings explore the third dimension using actual material products such as band-aids, fast food wrappers and bubbles. Axelrod is currently designing the backdrop for the music stage on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”.

What is Giclee, And Why Is It The Next Best Thing to Owning the Original?
Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable quality that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original artwork. The result is wide acceptance of high quality Giclees by galleries, museums, and private collectors.
How does a Giclee differ from a traditional print (a lithograph)?
Giclee printmaking derives its quality from its seemingly “dotless” imaging technology which contrasts with traditional fine art prints which typically relies on printing screen pattern dots to reproduce full-range color. Because traditional offset printing dot patterns are detectable to the unaided eye, it is less desirable than Giclee fine art prints for fine art reproduction. Traditional offset prints are typically restricted to papers that widely vary from what the original artwork was created on. Giclee prints result in a reproduction that is virtually indistinguishable from the original artwork.
